BuzzPatch is a different format to try: citronella patches for clothes, without the spray routine. See how to use them and what to expect before you choose a pack.
Mosquitoes find people by scent. BuzzPatch releases plant-based essential-oil scent from a patch on clothing to help repel them. No spray bottle, no lotion rubbed into skin. Apply as directed before heading outside.
Resealable Bag Keeps Patches Fresh
Keep unused BuzzPatch patches in their resealable pouch between outings, so they are ready when you need them.
On Clothing. Off Your Skin.
A DEET-free option with citronella essential oil. Apply the adhesive patch to clothing instead of directly to skin. Follow the label.
A Pocket-Sized Outdoor Essential

Peel. Stick. Get Ready to Go.

You want a simple outdoor routine
Prepare before heading out: peel, place on clothing, and follow the application directions.
The sprays, the candles, the product a friend swore by. You have tried enough to ask better questions now. BuzzPatch offers citronella on clothes instead of a spray-down. NATPAT tested the stickers in a 40-person field trial and explains the result alongside the wearing directions. You can see what is in the patch, where it goes and when to refresh it before you choose a pack. A clear answer is worth more than another promise of a mosquito-free summer.

🌿
Plant-based. DEET-free.
Citronella essential oil on clothing, with no spray or lotion rubbed into skin.
How is this different from the repellents I have already tried?
It delivers citronella from a clothing patch instead of a spray or lotion applied to skin. That is a format difference, not a promise that it outperforms every repellent.
Why do the reviews disagree?
Customers use it in different settings and report different results. Placement, weather and mosquito activity matter; that does not invalidate a disappointing experience.
Should I buy a large bundle before trying it?
Choose the pack size that suits you. A smaller first order can help you assess the format without stocking up immediately.
Does buying more patches mean stronger protection?
A larger pack gives you more patches. Use the number and placement in the directions; pack size itself is not a protection claim.
What is BuzzPatch?
BuzzPatch is a plant-based mosquito repellent patch that attaches to clothing. It contains essential oils, including citronella, and no DEET.
Does it really work?
Its essential-oil scent helps repel mosquitoes. Apply as directed before going outside and follow the replacement directions.
How many patches do I use?
Ages 0–2: 1 patch. Ages 3–5: 2 patches. Ages 6+: 2–4 patches. Apply to clothing as directed.
How long do they last when worn?
For best results, refresh after the day’s activities or every 8 hours. Keep unused patches in the resealable pouch.
How do I use it correctly?
Apply to clothing, not directly to skin. Follow the label, keep patches away from the mouth, and keep unused patches out of children’s reach.
How long will shipping take?
Shipping times depend on your destination. See the main product page and shipping policy for the current delivery estimate.

Buzzpatch works well
We’ve purchased the Buzzpatches and found they do work great. The only thing I would suggest, would be to have patch designs that aren’t so juvenile. We’ve been to adult outside parties where people are in dressier clothing. A more adult version would be greatly appreciated to use in these circumstances.

Amazing
Been buying these for my daughter for over 2 years because they’re amazing! When we go visit the country where my mom lives, the mosquitos are ruthless but these have protected my daughter so well. I always recommend them to families with kiddos. I refuse to use the spray on my child and other children if I witness them trying to spray them. That stuff smells so bad, full of chemicals and these stickers don’t smell bad and they don’t go on their skin.

My kids are obsessed
Perhaps a little too obsessed. Getting them to apply sunscreen is a total chore, but they are all in for fun bug stickers and often debate with eachother which colour and design to choose. When they were little I'd just slap one on their back or butt worrying about them pulling them off or sticking them in their mouth and sometimes they even stay on through the laundry. The only time my kids get bit is if I forgot to get the stickers out.
