Yes, it really does work.

Our Patches use a specially crafted formulation of essential oils to create relief or enhance various functions of our body or to mask us from insects.

They work by triggering receptors, which then sends messages from the nervous system to the limbic system — the system that controls behavior and emotions.

In the case of insects, these bugs find us by “smelling” the carbon dioxide (CO2) we emit when we exhale. Certain compounds, including specific essential oils overpower the CO2 we emit, essentially hiding us from mosquitoes.

Different patches can have different requirements. Let me tell you about my own family.

Our two year old Sadie loves to use the BuzzPatches like they are a stickerbook. but in reality she is fine with one centrally located on the back of her teeshirt, but we like to put one on her shorts or skirt near her leg and one near her collar. When it comes to using SleepyPatch, we'll let her pick one sticker each night and put it on her Pyjama top chest area.

Delphi, our six-year-old will put a BuzzPatch on the sleeve, one on her shoe or near her ankle and one on her top centrally. When she is (or we are!) using one of our other patches like ZenPatch, SleepyPatch or FocusPatch, just the one around the top centre of her tee-shirt.

I personally will put a BuzzPatch on each shoe near my ankle, on my clothes near the exposed part of each leg and arm. I also suffer from allergies and use jsut one of these patches at a time centrally on my clothes near where I'm able to easily smell it. occasionally. If I've been working on the computer late will use a SleepyPatch and actually stick it to the bed-head just above my pillow.

Our patches contain undiluted essential oils on non-woven fabric and is safe to wear on the outer clothing. It is not intended to be placed directly on the skin.
