YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Is the decorative band itself the active repellent?

No. The band is the holder; the citronella pellet inside it does the repelling.

What is the other 85% in the pellet?

Polyethylene, the inactive carrier that holds the citronella.

What does “lab tested” mean?

Each active pellet was lab tested to repel mosquitoes for up to 15 days. It is not a promise that every wearer stays bite-free.

How do I know when to change the pellet?

Change it after 15 days of use, or sooner if the scent has faded.

What is in each active pellet?

15% citronella oil and 85% polyethylene. Each active pellet weighs 5 g.

How should I store the band and pellets?

Keep the band and spare pellets in the closed original pack, cool and dry, away from sunlight and children.

What precautions apply to children's use?

Children must use it only under direct adult supervision. Pellets are a choking hazard for small children. Keep away from eyes, food and drinks.

What is included in one pack?

One band with a pellet holder, three active 5 g citronella pellets and a separate display pellet. Replace the display pellet before use.

Can the band get wet?

Yes. Slap Band is waterproof. Follow the wearing, handling and storage directions.
