MOSQUITO REPELLENT SLAP BAND

The best time to remember is before they are outside.

Some afternoons are planned. Others start with a child asking to go into the garden right now. Make the loaded band one of the things you check before opening the door. An adult takes it from the resealable pack, checks the active pellet and puts it on the child. When playtime ends, return the band to the pack. Store it safely out of reach, ready for the next supervised outing.

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Should I leave it out by the shoes as a reminder?

Keep the product sealed in its original pack and out of children’s reach. Use an adult-visible reminder without leaving loose pellets accessible.

Can they put it on themselves when they go out?

Children must use it under direct adult supervision. The adult handles the pellets and checks the band.

Can they leave it on overnight so we do not forget?

This page does not recommend overnight use. Put it back in the resealable pack when it is not being used.

Does a familiar routine mean the pellet never needs changing?

No. Each active pellet works for up to 15 days. Replace it when it is due.

What is in each active pellet?

15% citronella oil and 85% polyethylene. Each active pellet weighs 5 g.

How should I store the band and pellets?

Keep the band and spare pellets in the closed original pack, cool and dry, away from sunlight and children.

What precautions apply to children's use?

Children must use it only under direct adult supervision. Pellets are a choking hazard for small children. Keep away from eyes, food and drinks.

What is included in one pack?

One band with a pellet holder, three active 5 g citronella pellets and a separate display pellet. Replace the display pellet before use.

Can the band get wet?

Yes. Slap Band is waterproof. Follow the wearing, handling and storage directions.
