MOSQUITO REPELLENT SLAP BAND

Pack the product and the way to look after it.

The useful camping item is the one you can prepare, use and put away for the next outing. Bring the band in its original pack with the spare pellets. An adult loads an active pellet, supervises wearing and reseals the band between uses. Camping can mean heavy mosquito activity, so choose suitable clothing and additional protection for the conditions. This is a mosquito repellent product, not a tick solution.
A parent loads the citronella pellet into the Slap Band before a child heads outside.

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Is Slap Band made for camping?

Yes. Camping is one of the outdoor activities it is made for.

Can I use it as tick repellent on a woodland trip?

Slap Band is a mosquito repellent product. It does not carry a tick-repellent claim; use appropriate tick precautions for your destination.

Can I leave spare pellets loose in the tent?

No. Store them in the closed original pack, cool and dry and out of children’s reach.

Can the band be the only protection in a very buggy campsite?

Do not assume that. Plan clothing and other appropriate mosquito protection for the setting and follow local guidance.

What is in each active pellet?

15% citronella oil and 85% polyethylene. Each active pellet weighs 5 g.

How should I store the band and pellets?

Keep the band and spare pellets in the closed original pack, cool and dry, away from sunlight and children.

What precautions apply to children's use?

Children must use it only under direct adult supervision. Pellets are a choking hazard for small children. Keep away from eyes, food and drinks.

What is included in one pack?

One band with a pellet holder, three active 5 g citronella pellets and a separate display pellet. Replace the display pellet before use.

Can the band get wet?

Yes. Slap Band is waterproof. Follow the wearing, handling and storage directions.
